back story-At age 4 Richard was selected to become one of Spartan 8's new beta company there he would meet two other candidates John and Jodean Aran. Richard hated John the second the two laid eye on each other. The two began to compete a lot ending mostly in fist fights getting pulled away by Lance. When learning John would not even graduate due to his genetic code Richard decided to make John's life a living hell stepping up his game when it came to team matches, but John still managed to beat Richard's team with flying colors even with him not having the code to be so John was a Spartan at heart. The day that the Spartan's got their genetic enhance ments(10-31-3021) aka Graduation day John's team recived top honors Richards came in second. Now Richard is deployed to high risk situations for the UNSC.
